2024 XPeng P5 hits market, starting at 156,900 yuan

Shanghai (Gasgoo)- On September 25, just one week after the debut of the 2024 XPeng G9, XPeng put another new product, the 2024 XPeng P5, onto the market.

The new XPeng P5 comes with two trim levels with prices ranging from 156,900 yuan to 174,900 yuan. Customers who purchase this vehicle can enjoy significant benefits, including an 8,000 yuan discount on the vehicle price or a 24-month interest-free installment plan (choose one from the two option), as well as a 3,000 yuan optional equipment fund and other exclusive purchasing incentives.

Remaining unchanged in pricing with its predecessor, the 2024 XPeng P5 streamlines its stock keeping units (SKUs) into two distinct lineups: Plus and Pro to align closely with users' driving needs.

In terms of design, the 2024 XPeng P5 continues the concept of gradual disappearing curves and low aerodynamic design from its existing model. It has undergone styling updates on the front and rear bumpers as well as the side skirts, resulting in a more streamlined and elongated overall body. The addition of two new body colors, Interstellar Green and Crescent Moon Silver, as well as the choice of Airy Gray interior, caters to consumer preferences for vehicle colors.

Moreover, low surface clearance design at the corners of the front and rear bumpers, along with smooth transitions on the front grille, enhances airflow separation, cooperatively optimizing aerodynamics. This contributes to the 2024 XPeng P5 achieving an ultra-low drag coefficient of as low as 0.218Cd, further reducing energy consumption.

As a smart all-electric sedan, the 2024 XPeng P5 continues the intelligence and convenience of its former model, while introducing many upgrades and optimizations. The vehicle is equipped with the third-generation Qualcomm Snapdragon in-cabin platform (SA8155P) chip, enabling comprehensive voice interaction and control across all scenarios. It supports dual acoustic zones for continuous multi-round human-machine dialogues, making daily driving more convenient.

XPeng has always been proud of its vehicle driving intelligence. The 2024 XPeng P5 maintains high performance, with the vehicle being equipped with 30 sensing units. In the Pro trim, the Xavier smart driving chip is included as standard, enabling highway navigation guided pilot (NGP) functionality.

The dimensions of the 2024 XPeng P5 are 4,860mm long, 1,840mm wide, and 1,520mm tall, with its length increased by 52mm compared to the outgoing model. Its wheelbase reaches 2,768mm, and the trunk has a usable capacity of 450 liters, with as many as 26 storage spaces in the interior.

Furthermore, the 2024 XPeng P5 offers effective legroom of 1,058mm/991mm in the front and rear rows and effective headroom of 988mm/952mm for the front and rear seat, catering to the comfort needs of users with different body types.

Power replenishment and safety are essential considerations for electric vehicles. The 2024 XPeng P5 is equipped with an intelligent thermal management temperature control system, ensuring the power battery always operates within a temperature range for efficient work.
