Windrose Technology, Goodman Group ally on development of fast-charging facilities for new energy heavy-duty trucks

Shanghai (Gasgoo)- Global industrial property group, Goodman Group, announced on October 16 a partnership with the Chinese new energy heavy-duty truck developer, Windrose Technology. Together, they will combine their expertise in technology and sustainable development to establish fast-charging infrastructures for new energy heavy-duty trucks within Goodman's properties.

This collaboration is set to commence with testing and construction on properties owned by Goodman in China and will gradually expand to other regions.

Windrose Technology boasts a roster of investors, including FountainVest, Yunqi Partners, GSR Ventures, as well as executives from prominent companies such as Coca-Cola, Starbucks, Decathlon, Li Auto, and Geely Group. The newly formed partnership made Goodman Group a new investor to Windrose Technology.

Windrose Technology is a Chinese supplier of fully self-developed new energy intelligent driving heavy truck solutions. The company is crafting a next-generation zero-emission intelligent heavy-duty truck to meet the needs of consumer goods transportation, facilitating global cross-border trade and logistics connectivity. Its initial vehicle model is projected to have a range of 600 kilometers, weigh 49 tonnes, and feature an 800V high-voltage rapid charging platform. Windrose Technology has conducted high-temperature and high-altitude tests with Decathlon, a client of Goodman Group, for the model. This vehicle series is set to debut in China in 2024 and subsequently expand into the American, European, and Australian markets.
