Shanghai (Gasgoo)- Li Auto today released the official images of its first all-electric MPV, the Li MEGA, providing a comprehensive look at the vehicle's exterior design from multiple angles. As Li Auto's technology-powered flagship model for families, the Li MEGA boasts a sleek body design, humorously referred to as the "high-speed train" by the automaker itself, suggesting its low drag coefficient comparable to sedans. Its front fascia is elegantly simple, featuring square LED headlights. The front bumper design is also kept minimal, with a central ventilation grille and understated side accents. Notably, the front end is likely to carry six radar sensors and a panoramic front camera.

The Li MEGA boasts a seamless, uninterrupted curve that extends from the front to the rear, adorned with a continuous light strip just above the logo. The model incorporates a large front triangular window to enhance the driver's visibility.

Moving to the sides, the Li MEGA maintains a clean profile without the traditional waistline. Both the front and second-row doors feature concealed handles to reduce aerodynamic drag. It comes equipped with 245/60 R18 Michelin e.PRIMACY tires on low-drag wheels.
Based on the official images, the yet-to-be-launched MPV model appears to have a three-row seven-seat layout, with the second-row seatbacks and headrests obscured by the C-pillar and the third-row headrests located forward of the D-pillar. With an estimated length of over 5.3 meters, the Li MEGA is expected to offer ample interior space.

The rear design also adopts the minimalistic aesthetic, featuring a top-mounted rearview camera, which indicates its potential for a streaming media rearview mirror. The taillights run across the width of the rear with a simple rear bumper. Notably, the placement of the tailgate hinges seems to be located further forward, possibly to optimize rear clearance when opening the tailgate, considering the car's substantial length.
The Li MEGA will be constructed on an 800-volt platform and will be equipped with the 5C Qilin batteries from CATL. With a charging power of 500kW, the model can be supplied with 400 kilometers of range through a charging session of just 9 minutes and 30 seconds, or 600 kilometers in 22 minutes. Furthermore, it introduces a robot that can automatically connect the charger with the charging port, eliminating the need for owners to exit the vehicle during charging.
