BYD to debut Sea Lion 07 coupe SUV at Auto Guangzhou 2023

Shanghai (Gasgoo)- Chinese leading new energy vehicle manufacturer BYD is set to introduce a new vehicle model, the Sea Lion 07, at the Auto Guangzhou 2023, on November 17, according to a post on BYD's WeChat account.

The Sea Lion 07 is positioned as a stylish SUV coupe and is crafted by BYD's global design team led by Wolfgang Egger, the Chief Stylist. Embracing BYD's distinctive Ocean Aesthetics, the vehicle employs the design language known as "Ocean X Face." The car's sleek lines and distinctive front end, enriched with numerous bold strokes, showcase a compelling design and a sense of depth, with the raised lines on the hood emphasizing the frontal strength.

On the model’s side profile, the Sea Lion 07 exudes a sense of fluidity and athleticism. The coupe-like design adds a touch of sportiness, and the rising shoulder line, coupled with a dual waistline design, contributes to the car's poised stance. Notably, the car features chamfered square wheel arches, enhancing both recognition and a sense of strength.

At the rear, the Sea Lion 07 continues its sporty design with a cohesive full-width taillight assembly and a sizable rear bumper. The use of horizontal lines elongates the visual width of the rear, creating a visually dynamic effect.

As for powertrain details, the automaker reveals that the Sea Lion 07 represents an evolution of the e-Platform 3.0, with further information yet to be disclosed.
