BYD DOLPHIN MINI model hits Brazilian, Mexican markets

Shanghai (Gasgoo)- Recently, BYD launched its DOLPHIN MINI all-electric model (named "BYD Seagull" in China) both in Brazil and Mexico, marking the model's debut in the Latin American market, according to a post on BYD's WeChat account.

In Brazil's market, the BYD DOLPHIN MINI is expected to be another hotter-selling model after the BYD DOLPHIN. At the same time, BYD also released a series of preferential terms to better reward local users. These favourable terms include insurance, financing, and other aspects.

At the launch site in Mexico, BYD created a trendy new energy vehicle experience block, and the BYD DOLPHIN MINI exhibition car was painted with "Cyberpunk" elements, which was very futuristic. Nearly 100 media and customers experienced the BYD DOLPHIN MINI for an immersive test drive and some innovative features such as VTOL mobile power station function and mobile KTV.

The BYD DOLPHIN MINI boasts an advanced intelligent cockpit, which is equipped with a 10.1-inch adaptive floating Pad compatible with Android Auto and Apple Carplay, and the "Hi BYD" voice assistant system, etc., providing users with more choices for intelligent driving. In the aspect of security configuration, The BYD DOLPHIN MINI adopts high-strength body structure, BYD's Blade Battery, 6 airbags, and intelligent braking system, etc., in order to provide a comprehensive security guard for passengers.

There are two trim levels of the BYD DOLPHIN MINI launched in Mexico, with ranges of 300km and 380km (under the NEDC conditions),respectively. The Brazilian-spec version features a NEDC-rated range of 380km, and under the DC fast charging condition, the vehicle can be charged from 30% to 80% of its battery capcity in just 30 minutes.
