BYD Frigate 07 model’s Honor Edition goes on sale

Shanghai (Gasgoo)- On March 18, the Honor Edition of the BYD Frigate ("Huweijian" in Chinese Pinyin) 07 model hit the market with five trim levels offered. The new model is priced from 179,800 yuan to 259,800 yuan.

The spotlight of the Frigate 07 Honor Edition's enhancements shines on its intelligent cockpit, which has been upgraded across the entire lineup to the advanced DiLink 100 system. Equipped with a custom high-performance Qualcomm Snapdragon octa-core processor utilizing a 6nm process, the CPU's capability soars to 136K DMIPS. Integrated with a 5G baseband, this upgrade promises significant improvements in computational power, performance, and functionality. The DiLink 100 advanced version introduces the ONE ID feature, enabling face ID recognition for personalized vehicle settings, seamless integration with third-party ecosystems, and a unique driving experience tailored to each user. Additionally, new scenario modes for napping, outdoor camping, or when traveling with a baby, allow for quick and convenient adjustments to the vehicle’s interior ambiance, ensuring comfort and safety.

Enhancements extend to the fully upgraded voice interaction system, supporting the "see and speak" feature, 20-second continuous dialogue, and four-zone activation, closely mimicking human-like AI voice responses. New features like zone locking and immediate interruption elevate the user experience further. Detail optimizations such as 3D vehicle control, dual desktops for maps and dynamic wallpapers, and intuitive three-finger air conditioning adjustments make the user experience smarter, quicker, and safer.

In terms of interior design, the BYD Frigate 07 Honor Edition introduces a Shell White color scheme in addition to the existing Cloudy Gray, offering simplicity and elegance to meet diverse preferences

The new vehicle comes standard with a 10.25-inch full-digital instrument panel and has upgraded the wireless charging capability across all trims to 50W. The outdoor camping VTOL mobile power station function has been enhanced to 6kW for worry-free outdoor electricity usage. Moreover, all variants come equipped with factory-installed ETC. Notably, the Frigate 07 Honor Edition now offers a 7kW wall-mounted charging box and free installation rights across the board, improving home charging speed.

Powered by BYD’s DM-i/DM-p super hybrid technology, the Frigate 07 Honor Edition boasts an impressive range of up to 205 km on battery power only (NEDC conditions), meeting the weekly commuting needs effortlessly. With energy consumption as low as 5.3L/100km and a combined range of over 1,200 km on a full tank and charge, it promises low operating costs.

Completing its impressive array of features, the BYD Frigate 07 Honor Edition comes standard with FSD frequency-variable damping shock absorbers and a rear four-link independent suspension system, ensuring a smooth and responsive ride.
