GAC AION announces foray into Vietnamese market

Shanghai (Gasgoo)- On October 15, GAC AION officially marked its entry into the Vietnamese market with the grand opening of its first flagship store in Ho Chi Minh City, according to a post on GAC AION's WeChat account.

The event also showcased two key models, the AION Y Plus and AION ES, reinforcing GAC AION's commitment to bringing its innovative electric vehicles to Vietnam. A special vehicle handover ceremony for the first batch of customers was also held during the opening.

Le Minh Tien, General Manager of AION brand under the Harmony Auto in Vietnam, emphasized that the goal is not only to introduce electric vehicles to Vietnam but also to promote a greener and more sustainable lifestyle. AION's advanced technologies and eco-friendly solutions align perfectly with the growing demands of Vietnamese consumers for sustainable mobility.

The new flagship store, strategically located in the heart of Ho Chi Minh City, serves as a center for brand experience, product displays, and after-sales services. Equipped with comprehensive charging infrastructure, the store caters to customer service and vehicle charging needs. GAC AION said it also plans to equip all its future sales outlets across Vietnam with both DC and AC charging stations.

To meet the rising demand for EV charging solutions, GAC AION has already established strategic partnerships with major charging service providers in Vietnam, combining self-built stations with collaborative efforts.
