August, 2008 sales ranking of A sedan

Shanghai (Gasgoo)- Sales of the Jetta amounted to 18,927 units, up 7.94% year on year, the first on August, 2008 sales ranking of A sedan, according to the August sales data of the China Passenger Car Association. Sales of the Excelle amounted to 12,342 units, down 18.23% year on year, ranking second on the list while its YTD sales totaled 116,899 units. August sales of the Corolla reached 11,658 units, increasing 48.02% year on year and ranking third on the list while its YTD sales were 110,451 units. (Note: Data here refers to sales of cars, SUVs and MPVs made and sold in China.)
