August, 2008 sales ranking by China's OEMs

Shanghai (Gasgoo)- Sales of chery Auto amounted to 20,428 units, down 24.44% year on year, the first on August, 2008 sales ranking by China's OEMs, according to the August sales data of the China Passenger Car Association. Sales of Geely Auto amounted to 13,409 units, down 13.85% year on year, ranking second on the list while its YTD sales totaled 142,318 units. August sales of BYD Auto reached 11,854 units, increasing 139.62% year on year and ranking third on the list while its YTD sales were 85,321 units. (Note: Data here refers to sales of cars, SUVs and MPVs made and sold in China.)
