Shanghai (Gasgoo)- Sales of the Elantra Yuedong amounted to 23,869 units, up 95.02% year on year, the first on May, 2009 sales ranking of A sedan, according to the May sales data of the China Passenger Car Association. Sales of the Excelle amounted to 23,100 units, up 107.38% year on year, ranking second on the list while its YTD sales totaled 94,322 units. May sales of the Jetta reached 20,934 units, increasing 14.75% year on year and ranking third on the list while its YTD sales were 88,433 units. (Note: Data here refers to sales of cars, SUVs and MPVs made and sold in China.)
