August, 2009 sales ranking of A sedan

Shanghai (Gasgoo)- Sales of the BYD F3 amounted to 24,685 units, up 133.34% year on year, the first on August, 2009 sales ranking of A sedan, according to the August sales data of the China Passenger Car Association. Sales of the Elantra Yuedong amounted to 21,092 units, up 236.02% year on year, ranking second on the list while its YTD sales totaled 156,338 units. August sales of the Jetta reached 21,053 units, increasing 11.23% year on year and ranking third on the list while its YTD sales were 147,299 units. (Note: Data here refers to sales of cars, SUVs and MPVs made and sold in China.)
