Shanghai (Gasgoo)- Sales of the Corolla amounted to 14,286 units, up 22.54% year on year, the first on August, 2009 sales ranking of A sedan from Japan's brands, according to the August sales data of the China Passenger Car Association. Sales of the Sylphy amounted to 9,346 units, up 265.22% year on year, ranking second on the list while its YTD sales totaled 49,480 units. August sales of the Civic reached 8,301 units, increasing 24.90% year on year and ranking third on the list while its YTD sales were 60,415 units.
