Shanghai (Gasgoo)- Sales of chery Auto amounted to 38,786 units, up 89.87% year on year, the first on August, 2009 sales ranking by China's OEMs, according to the August sales data of the China Passenger Car Association. Sales of BYD Auto amounted to 38,361 units, up 223.61% year on year, ranking second on the list while its YTD sales totaled 246,821 units. August sales of Geely Auto reached 23,387 units, increasing 74.41% year on year and ranking third on the list while its YTD sales were 192,131 units.
