Shanghai (Gasgoo)- Sales of the BYD F3 amounted to 24,685 units, up 133.34% year on year, the first on August, 2009 sales ranking of Models, according to the August sales data of the China Passenger Car Association. Sales of the Elantra Yuedong amounted to 21,092 units, up 236.02% year on year, ranking second on the list while its YTD sales totaled 156,338 units. August sales of the Jetta reached 21,053 units, increasing 11.23% year on year and ranking third on the list while its YTD sales were 147,299 units. (Note: Data here refers to sales of cars, SUVs and MPVs made and sold in China.)
