Shanghai (Gasgoo)- Sales of chery Auto amounted to 43,278 units, down 15.91% year on year, the first on August, 2011 sales ranking by China's OEMs, according to the August sales data of the China Passenger Car Association. Sales of BYD Auto amounted to 28,449 units, down 8.43% year on year, ranking second on the list while its YTD sales totaled 288,364 units. August sales of Geely Auto reached 27,730 units, increasing 8.95% year on year and ranking third on the list while its YTD sales were 267,761 units.
