Shanghai (Gasgoo)- Sales of the Tiguan amounted to 20,408 units, up 57.81% year on year, the first on January, 2012 sales ranking of SUVs from Germany's brands, according to the January sales data of the China Passenger Car Association. Sales of the Audi Q5 amounted to 6,526 units, up 44.83% year on year, ranking second on the list while its YTD sales totaled 6,526 units. January sales of the BMW X1 reached 1,800 units, and ranking third on the list while its YTD sales were 1,800 units. (Note: Data here refers to sales of cars, SUVs and MPVs made and sold in China.)
