August, 2012 sales ranking by China's OEMs

Shanghai (Gasgoo)- Sales of chery Auto amounted to 42,671 units, down 1.40% year on year, the first on August, 2012 sales ranking by China's OEMs, according to the August sales data of the China Passenger Car Association. Sales of Great Wall Motor amounted to 40,218 units, up 68.16% year on year, ranking second on the list while its YTD sales totaled 288,283 units. August sales of SAIC-GM-Wuling reached 34,302 units, increasing 29.76% year on year and ranking third on the list while its YTD sales were 266,064 units. (Note: Data here refers to sales of cars, SUVs and MPVs made and sold in China.)
