Shanghai (Gasgoo)- Sales of the Tucson amounted to 17,146 units, up 653.67% year on year, the first on August, 2016 sales ranking of compact SUVs from Korea's brands, according to the August sales data of the China Passenger Car Association. Sales of the Hyundai ix35 amounted to 6,175 units, down 24.46% year on year, ranking second on the list while its YTD sales totaled 48,978 units. August sales of the KIA KX5 reached 5,537 units, and ranking third on the list while its YTD sales were 41,664 units. (Note: Data here refers to sales of cars, SUVs and MPVs made and sold in China.)
