Shanghai (Gasgoo)- Sales of SAIC-VW amounted to 24,893 units, up 43.65% year on year, the first on August, 2003 sales ranking by all OEMs, according to the August sales data of the China Passenger Car Association. Sales of FAW-VW amounted to 20,013 units, up 19.22% year on year, ranking second on the list while its YTD sales totaled 138,059 units. August sales of GAC-Honda reached 8,743 units, increasing 60.36% year on year and ranking third on the list while its YTD sales were 68,699 units.
