Shanghai (Gasgoo)- Sales of BYD Auto amounted to 239,092 units, up 109.39% year on year, the first on May, 2023 auto sales ranking by all OEMs, according to the May sales data of the China Passenger Car Association. Sales of FAW-VW amounted to 144,371 units, down 4.31% year on year, ranking second on the list while its YTD sales totaled 649,150 units. May sales of chery Auto reached 126,866 units, increasing 64.98% year on year and ranking third on the list while its YTD sales were 537,744 units. (Note: Data here refers to sales of cars, SUVs and MPVs made and sold in China.)
