Shanghai (Gasgoo)- Sales of the Passat amounted to 8,283 units, up 40.08% year on year, the first on August, 2006 sales ranking of B sedan from Germany's brands, according to the August sales data of the China Passenger Car Association. Sales of the BMW 3 series amounted to 1,344 units, ranking second on the list while its YTD sales totaled 7,318 units.
