August, 2006 sales ranking of sedans

Shanghai (Gasgoo)- Sales of the Jetta amounted to 14,652 units, up 34.99% year on year, the first on August, 2006 sales ranking of sedans, according to the August sales data of the China Passenger Car Association. Sales of the Elantra amounted to 13,425 units, down 2.25% year on year, ranking second on the list while its YTD sales totaled 113,317 units. August sales of the Excelle reached 13,045 units, increasing 6.40% year on year and ranking third on the list while its YTD sales were 111,821 units. (Note: Data here refers to sales of cars, SUVs and MPVs made and sold in China.)
