Shanghai (Gasgoo)- Sales of FAW-VW amounted to 27,936 units, up 39.37% year on year, the first on August, 2006 sales ranking by Joint Venture's OEMs, according to the August sales data of the China Passenger Car Association. Sales of SAIC-VW amounted to 25,901 units, up 23.42% year on year, ranking second on the list while its YTD sales totaled 213,861 units. August sales of SAIC-GM reached 25,635 units, increasing 57.38% year on year and ranking third on the list while its YTD sales were 215,097 units.
