Shanghai (Gasgoo)- Sales of chery Auto amounted to 38,865 units, up 67.47% year on year, the first on May, 2007 sales ranking by all OEMs, according to the May sales data of the China Passenger Car Association. Sales of FAW-VW amounted to 38,358 units, up 39.37% year on year, ranking second on the list while its YTD sales totaled 169,492 units. May sales of SAIC-VW reached 33,320 units, increasing 53.62% year on year and ranking third on the list while its YTD sales were 178,973 units. (Note: Data here refers to sales of cars, SUVs and MPVs made and sold in China.)
