On July 26, during the ChinaJoy 2024 convention, Liao Qinghong, COO of Geely-associated DreamSmart Group (previously known as Xingji Meizu), announced that the company's first car will be launched and delivered to consumers by the end of this year.

Meizu, the Geely-backed Chinese smartphone maker, revealed on its Flyme Auto website that its first-ever car model will be named the Meizu MX. This model will feature the Flyme Auto intelligent vehicle system.

DreamSmart Group, also known as Xingji Meizu Group, inked an international distribution agreement with Malaysia's Digital Way Group to extend presence in the Southeast Asian market, catering to consumers in 11 countries.
