Shanghai (Gasgoo)- Chinese new energy vehicle (NEV) startup Li Auto launched two new models today–the Li L8 six-seater SUV and the Li L7 five-seater SUV, both of which comes with a Pro and a Max version.
To be specific, the Li L8 Pro and Max are priced at 359,800 yuan and 399,800 yuan, respectively, while the Li L7 features a retail price range of 339,800 yuan (Pro) to 379,800 yuan (Max).
Both the Li L8 and Li L7 are open for reservations today. The Li L8 model will arrive at Li Auto’s showrooms starting on October 1 with delivery to commence in early November. The Li L7 is expected for delivery in the first quarter of 2023.
Li L8
The Li L8 adopts a 1.5T four-cylinder range extender with a CLTC heat-engine oil consumption of only 5.9 liters per 100 kilometers. Coupled with a 42.8kWh battery pack, the new REEV model features a combined range of 1,315km and 1,100km under the CLTC and WLTC test cycle, respectively. Driven by a four-wheel-drive system, the model is able to zip from 0-100km/h within 5.5 seconds.

Positioned as a premium full-sized SUV for family users, the Li L8 adds the Li Magic Carpet air suspension to its standard equipment list. The front double-wishbone suspension and the rear five-link suspension cooperate with the intelligent air suspension and the millisecond-level CDC (continuous damping control) system to offer an upscale driving and seating comfort.
The Li L8 measures 5,080mm long, 1,995mm wide, and 1,800mm tall, with a wheelbase of 3,005mm. It has an over 180-mm-wide aisle through the second row at its narrowest point, allowing users to easily access to the third row.
The Li L8 Pro comes standard with the Li AD Pro intelligent driver assistance system and will be the world's first model to adopt the China-made Horizon Robotics Journey 5 chip for autonomous driving, with 128 TOPS of computing power.
The Li L8 Max comes standard with the Li AD Max intelligent driver assistance system, which is powered by dual Orin-X chips with 508TOPS of computing power, supporting real-time efficient processing of fusion signals from high-definition cameras, LiDAR, millimeter-wave radars, and ultrasonic sensors.

The Li L8 is installed with a 13.35-inch HUD and a Mini LED interactive safe driving screen as a standard kit. Through the HUD, the key driving information can be projected onto the front windshield. Located above the steering wheel, the interactive safe driving screen enables a clear display of necessary driving information and an easier touch control thanks to the Mini LED and the multi-touch technology.
Li L7
As Li Auto's first full-sized five-seater flagship SUV, the Li L7 measures 5,050mm long, 1,995mm wide, 1,750mm tall, with a wheelbase that spans 3,005mm.

The central second-row seat of the Li L7 can lay flat to be an oversized armrest, which, together with the soft door armrests, can embrace the entire seat and convert the three-seat sofa into two separate VIP seats.
The Li L7 also comes standard with Li Auto's new-generation all-wheel-drive range extension system and the Li Magic Carpet air suspension like the Li L8, featuring a combined CLTC range of 1,315km and WLTC range of 1,100km.
Like the Li L8, the Li L7 Pro also carries the AD Pro and the AD Max intelligent driver assistance system for the Pro and Max versions, respectively.
