BYD Yuan UP is the first A0-segment SUV based on e-Platform 3.0
BYD recently released teaser images for its upcoming model, the Yuan UP, set to hit the market in March 2024. This marks BYD’s first A0-segment SUV built on its e-Platform 3.0.
Incorporating a youthful and vibrant design, the Yuan UP aims to redefine the elements of BYD's Yuan series. The distinctive Yuan logo in seal script font is seamlessly integrated into the black front grille, accompanied by elongated and sharp headlights.
At the rear, the through-type taillight cluster, segmented spoiler on the roof, and a sizable diffuser highlight the sporty aspect.
The Yuan UP measures 4,310mm long, 1,830mm wide, and 1,675mm tall, with a wheelbase of 2,620mm, making it smaller than the Yuan PLUS model.
Regarding power, it is expected to feature a 130kW electric motor with the BYD Blade Battery, though specific details about the range are currently undisclosed.
