Shanghai (Gasgoo)- On Jan. 13, Li Shufu, Chairman of Zhejiang Geely Holding Group, led a team to visit Shangrao, Jiangxi Province. Accompanied by several government officials of Shangrao Municipal, Li Shufu and his team made a deep investigation on projects about new energy commercial vehicles and comprehensive automobile testing ground at Shangrao Economic & Technological Development Zone.

During the visit, Geely Holding Group signed a strategic cooperation framework agreement and a cooperation plan of targeted poverty alleviation with Shangrao Municipal Government. It also signed two agreements with Shangrao Economic & Technological Development Zone, one is about investing in the project of Geely's new-gen intelligent new energy urban commercial vehicles, the other is a cooperation agreement of comprehensive vehicle testing grounds.

It is said that the project of Geely's new-gen intelligent new energy urban commercial vehicles is expected to have a total investment of RMB 14.6 billion and will cover an area of 1,200mu (about 8 million square meters). Once completed, it will achieve an annual capacity of 200,000 new energy commercial vehicles.
