August, 2024 auto sales ranking by China's brands

Shanghai (Gasgoo)- Sales of BYD amounted to 355,679 units, up 35.46% year on year, the first on August, 2024 auto sales ranking by China's brands, according to the August sales data of the China Passenger Car Association. Sales of Chery amounted to 132,324 units, up 13.75% year on year, ranking second on the list while its YTD sales totaled 968,975 units. August sales of Geely reached 100,978 units, increasing 11.79% year on year and ranking third on the list while its YTD sales were 769,743 units. (Note: Data here refers to sales of cars, SUVs and MPVs made and sold in China.)
