Specifically, one of NETA’s new models will be installed with 77GHz front-facing radars from Chuhang Technology, accelerating the auto brand’s intellectualization progress regarding ADAS and autonomous driving. The cooperative model can be expected for mass production in 2023. The duo plans to apply the radar to more vehicle models.
Chuhang Technology’s 77GHz radar is one of the handful high-frequency band millimeter-wave radars in China that have gone into mass production. The radar can help NETA build its intelligent driving system, achieving ACC, AEB, and FCW functions.
Chuhang Technology’s 77GHz front-facing radar has a detection range of 220m with strong anti-interference ability. The product has been certified to ASPICE CL2 and ISO 26262 ASIL-B this year.
Up to now, Chuhang Technology has attracted procurement projects from multiple domestic well-known automakers, such as Leapmotor and HOZON Auto. Its 77GHz front-facing radar has been mass produced and implemented onto a number of vehicle models.
