Gasgoo Munich- Gasgoo reported on March 30 that Zhiyuan Robotics officially rolled out its 10,000th general-purpose embodied robot. The batch included 2,126 units from the Yuanzheng series (A1/A2/A3), 5,008 from the Lingxi series (X1/X2), and 2,909 from the Jingling series (G1/G2).

At the delivery ceremony, Peng Zhihui, co-founder and president of Zhiyuan Robotics, said that rolling out 10,000 units marks the company's leap from an early "hand-crafted workshop" to industrial-grade standards.

Zhiyuan's manufacturing capacity has grown exponentially over the past 18 months. Between Jan. 6 and Dec. 8, 2025, the company ramped production from 1,000 to 5,000 units. Then, in just over three months from Dec. 8, 2025, to March 28, 2026, it broke the 10,000-unit mark. That rapid scaling highlights a sharp acceleration in manufacturing capability and a breakthrough in mass production.

Behind this surge, Zhiyuan has built the world's first standardized supply chain for embodied intelligence robots. Its order-driven flexible production and delivery system can handle over 100,000 units annually. A pilot factory validates processes and reliability, while mass-production plants ensure stability. Dedicated lines for joint modules enable automated assembly and 100% online testing, with full-link traceability via a MES system. By leveraging joint R&D and dedicated supply channels, the company has woven a "30-minute supply chain circle" to secure autonomous control over core components and ensure high-quality delivery.

Wang Chuang, partner and senior vice president at Zhiyuan Robotics, revealed that the company expects to deliver its 100,000th general-purpose embodied robot by the end of 2027.

As a leading player in China's embodied intelligence sector, Zhiyuan Robotics leverages a full-stack software and hardware architecture spanning the "brain, cerebellum, and body," along with a comprehensive layout covering models, data, and deployment. The company was the first globally to achieve mass production and commercial rollout of humanoid robots, with sales now reaching multiple countries and regions.

Regarding deployment strategy, Peng Zhihui outlined an approach of "laying eggs along the way." He divides tasks into "scenario complexity" and "task complexity," arguing that the current sweet spot for humanoid robots is "performing complex tasks in simple scenarios."

"For example, executing high-degree-of-freedom, high-dimensional perception operations in a structured factory environment," he explained. While autonomous driving involves simple tasks in complex environments, the ultimate goal for humanoid robots aligns with that of self-driving cars: handling complex tasks within complex environments.

At a factory owned by Longqi Technology, the Zhiyuan Jingling G2 has been deployed on a tablet production line for precision loading and unloading at the MMIT (Multimedia Integrated Test) station. The robot precisely picks up tablets awaiting testing from a high-speed assembly line, navigates the complex production floor space, places them into testing fixtures, and then sorts finished or defective units back onto the conveyor belt after testing is complete.

At a Ningbo Joyson Electronics automotive components plant, the Zhiyuan Jingling G2 is being used for flexible assembly involving the difficult positioning of tripod pins. The robot achieves a cycle time as fast as 12.97 seconds with a success rate exceeding 99%. Currently, nearly 1,000 workstations within the Joyson system have been adapted for the Jingling G2.

At Singapore's Changi Airport, the Zhiyuan Yuanzheng A2 has begun providing diversified services to travelers and staff, including reception, business guidance, and information inquiries.

Zhiyuan has also established local teams in 10 markets, including Malaysia, Thailand, and Australia. It is expanding aggressively through five cooperation models: joint ventures, distribution, experience centers, leasing alliances, and e-commerce platforms.

Zhiyuan Robotics is also committed to driving innovation and synergy in the embodied intelligence sector. Since its founding, it has open-sourced its robot operating system AimRT, the full set of Lingxi X1 drawings and code, a dataset of 1 million real-world robot episodes, and massive simulation datasets and evaluation tools — all to help build an open, collaborative ecosystem for general embodied intelligence.

Peng Zhihui predicts that once humanoid robots enter households, the scale of the industry will reach the magnitude of "mobile phone quantities multiplied by car prices."
