Shanghai, August 4 (Gasgoo.com) BMW will show off its revamped BMW 3-Series along with the new-generation 7-Series at the Paris International auto show next month. The new 3-Series then will go on sale globally and is expected to be produced in China at year-end, reported Beijing News, citing BMW sources.
The current BMW 3-Series have been on sale since 2005. Changes to the current 3-Series include new lights with LED indicators, revised bumpers, less chrome on the grille and a more distinctive creased bonnet.

Inside, the revised model gains the latest iDrive cabin control system, an 8.8-inch screen and an 80GB hard drive.
Engines will see improvement on fuel economy and emissions figures. The top 335i will be powered by a 6 Cylinder 3.0L Bi-turbo engine which generates an output of 306hp and a torque at 400 NM. The model can accelerate to 100km in 5.6 second.
It is believed that the flagship BMW 325i, BMW's best seller worldwide, will be the first revamped 3-Series model to be introduced to China.

BMW Brilliance, BMW's Chinese joint venture, has begun to cut production of the current 325i model and ceased supports, according to dealers. But BMW Group declined to confirm the news.
