Brilliance, BMW's partner in China, will set up an auto plant in Mianyang city, Sichuan Province southwest of China.
Qi Yuming, Chairman and President of Brilliance Motor said, once the new factory construction has been completed, Brilliance will have two bases in China, Mianyang city at the South and Shenyang city at the North.
Reportedly, the new factory in Mianyang will mainly produce passenger vehicles, small pickup and engines.
Meanwhile, Qi disclosed that the Group will launch a new A-segment model in 2008.
