Changan Auto has new president

Shanghai, January 8 (Gasgoo.com) Yin Jiaxu, Changan Auto director and president, is leaving his post and will be succeed by Zhu Ronghua and Xu Liuping, China Business News reported, citing an announcement by Chinese carmaker.

Yin Jiaxu, born in April 1956, took his post in Changan Auto from September 14, 1998 and has since carried out a lot of reforms. During his presidency, Changan Auto has become the fourth largest auto group in China from a small enterprise with an annual output of less than 80,000 units. Up to the end of November, Changan Auto produced 700,000 vehicles and sold 696,000 units in 2008.

Xu Liuping has been one of the Young Turks among the executive group in Changan Auto. He has proposed to meet annual sales target of one million.
