Gasgoo.com (Shanghai May 28) - Chinese automobile exports reach 67,520 units in April, growing 7.09 percent from the previous month, Autoweekly reported earlier this week. The figure came up in a recently released report by China Association of Automobile Manufacturers (CAAM) on the status of the industry, which shows automobile exports continuing to maintain positive growth.

The CAAM also reported total cumulative exports from the beginning of this year surpassing 225,000 vehicles, with foreign orders accounting for 3.5 percent of the industry's overall sales. However, the industry still has yet to surpass the record 6.61 percent ratio of exports to all sales achieved in 2008.
