Gasgoo.com (Shanghai June 21) - Lifan Motor committed to opening an auto part export production site in Chongqing, the Beijing Times reported today. The manufacturer signed an agreement with the municipal government last Saturday.
Lifan will invest 35.28 million yuan ($5.46m) in the new site. The manufacturer will also establish a new sales center to serve the Chongqing area, which will help distribute its SUVs, motorcycles and other vehicles.
