Gasgoo.com (Shanghai June 4) - The China Association of Automobile Manufacturers, in association with the China Machinery Industry Federation, released their list of the country's thirty largest automobile enterprises in 2010 earlier this week, the Nanfang Daily reported. The list was arranged by revenue and profit growth, with the top six companies having returns exceeding 100 billion yuan ($15.44b).
As expected, SAIC Group came out on top with revenue of 609.7 billion yuan ($94.11b), followed by FAW Group at 448.9 billion, Dongfeng Motor Company at 365.8 billion ($56.43b), Beijing Automotive Industry Holding at 150.7 billion ($23.36b), GAC Group at 146.4 billion ($22.6b) and Changan Automobile 135.4 billion ($20.9b). Close behind were Sinotruck, Brilliance Auto and Wanxiang Group, each earning over 60 billion yuan ($9.26b).
28 of the industries experienced positive growth, with 13 of them growing over 40 percent.
