Gasgoo.com (Shanghai June 9) - GM's European brand Opel recently confirmed its intent to import the next generation of the Zafira minivan next September, the Beijing Times reported today.
The Zafira, which made its premiere in 1999, is a compact minivan built in the same vein as the VW Touran and Mazda5. The current version of the Zafira sold in the country (pictured) is currently the most imported model in the market.
Sources within the company revealed that GM is confident in the vehicle's prospects in the country. GM will reportedly be bringing over Opel's Astra GTC sports car and Meriva minivan next year as well.
