DRC official calls to cancel car purchase tax

It is reported that the cars demanding is more and more, while the auto tax i s also attracting all lines’attention. Recently, at 2013 International Forum on Chinese automotive industry development, Development and Reform Commission Equipment Dept. Director Li Gang raised a hot topic, that is: Auto consumption tax reform, the direction of which is to cancel the purchase tax. In his view, the automobile purchase tax should be canceled and transferred to fuel tax and realize local and Central share, which can lower the threshold of buying a car but raising the threshold of using the car.

Audi in China to strengthen "All Wheel Drive" strategy

Shanghai Volkswagen August sales rise by 26.4% year-on-year

Toyota Recalls 2012 Exporting Lexus RX400h in China

Ford Sales Hits Record High for 4 Months, 46% Growth in August

Today (Sept. 5), Ford China announced its latest sales record. Ford auto has kept its strong growth in China. Its sales has refreshed its single month sales record for 4 months this year. According to statistics, Ford auto sales in China has reached 71,183 in August, which has increased 46% over the sales of the same period last year. The company has sold 551,738 vehicles in China accumulating from Jan. to Aug, which has increased 50% over last year.
