Land Rover sues Geely over copyright infringement

Gasgoo.com (Shanghai February 28) - Land Rover has officially filed a lawsuit against Geely arguing that the Zhejiang based manufacturer's use of the company's Chinese name (luhu, literally 'land tiger') constitutes copyright infringement, the Beijing Morning Post reported today. The claim, which was originally sent to the national Trademark Appraisal Committee, was rebuked, leading to Land Rover's decision to take legal action. The case is currently being reviewed.
