China readies 10 million EV parking spots by 2020

Detroit January 13 (Reuters) The Chinese government is said to be looking to prepare at least 10 million car parking spots for electric vehicles by 2020 in a new comprehensive policy due to be announced soon, a top executive at a local automaker said on Thursday.

BMW Brilliance's Senior Vice President is optimistic about Chinese luxury car market

Geely in talks with Foxconn on new energy vehicles

Shanghai January 13 (Gasgoo.com) Geely Automobile (00175.HK) is hoping to create a bridge to allow Taiwan industries develop in Mainland China. Yang Xueliang, Geely's public relations director, in an interview with First Financial Daily yesterday said that Geely is currently in the early stages of contact with Foxconn, the world's largest electronics contract manufacturer, with the goal of cooperating on developing new energy automobiles.

Car companies take caution in anticipation of slow 2011 sales
