It is reported that Tangshan Steel a part of Hebei Steel Group, successfully churned out 380CL HRC for automotive wheel from the mill’s 1700mm line on August 7th and firstly batch produced 2100 tonnes of the products.
The new product, proved qualified, provides the mill a chance to elbow the way into the wheel steel market where 330CL and 380CL are the most popular product.
According to the steelmaker market research, the demand of wheel steel reaches over 1m tons per annum, and is expected to keep increasing along with the development of China’s auto industry.
