Top 10 Managing Director in China Automotive industry

Gasgoo.com (Chinese) has released their award list of top 10 most talented managing directors. Award recipients come from top auto part companies, Sino-foreign joint ventures, state-owned enterprises and private businesses.

The recipients are as follows: Chen Yudong, President of Bosch (China) Investment Company; Wu Kaiyuan, Managing Director of China Region for Shanghai Delphi Packard Electric Systems; Zhang Yilin, Automotive President of Schaeffler Group (China); Jean-Michel Vallin, President of Faurecia (China); Liu Yinan, Managing Director of Beijing Hainachuan Automotive Parts; Chen Chunlin, CEO-BU Automotive Electronics of DESAY Corporation ; Nancy S. Chen Yudong: In 2011, Mr. Chen took the position of president of Bosch (China) Investment Company. Rising through the ranks from a purely technical employee to company president, he has always worked to adapt to the changing requirements of his environment. Using simple and clear speech to accentuate his power and personal charm, he has left many in awe. Under his leadership, the Bosch Group has seen many gains in China, while at the same time having its presence in the country grow.

Wu Kaiyuan: Having worked at Delphi Packard for 16 years, Mr. Wu has undertaken the roles of design engineering director, price and logistics director, China region engineering director, Asia-Pacific region lean production manager and Shanghai factory manager. He has accumulated a rich amount of experience in the fields of marketing and lean production. Delphi Packard, under his leadership, has become a leading automotive wire harness and electronic supplier in China and even worldwide.

Zhang Yilin: From 2004 up to today, Mr. Zhang has held the position of automotive president for Schaeffler Group (China). Utilizing vast professional knowledge, mature managerial theories and rich experience, he helped accelerate Schaeffler's performance in China. From 2004 to July of 2011, the company's sales multiplied over 30 times, setting an industry landmark.

Jean-Michel Vallin: In January 2008, Mr. Vallin took the role of president of Faurecia (China), as well as vice president for the company's automotive seating, interior systems and automotive exterior services. He manages 14 factories, three R&D centers and 4,000 staff. He has helped Faurecia's Chinese sales hit 540 million euros, helping the company become one of the largest French auto part enterprises in the country.

Liu Yinan: Since 2007, Mr. Liu has worked as Managing Director and Party Committee Secretary for Beijing Hainachuan Automotive Parts. The team personally lead by Mr. Liu has helped boost the company's returns from 3 billion yuan to 15 billion yuan today. Looking towards 2015, the company aims for its returns to top 30 billion yuan and to become one of China's finest enterprises, as well as an internationally renowned auto part supplier.

Chen Chunlin: In 2008 Mr. Chen accepted the role of Desay SV Automotive President. During his early years on the job, he led the company through a series of innovative reforms, leading his team to create breakthrough sales performances. Desay SV, originally Siemens VDO Automotive, was bought by the Desay Corporation. Mr. Chen, in helping facilitate the merging of the two company's sales and management cultures, led his company's to make record sales growths.

Nancy Gougarty: In January of 2008, Mrs. Gougarty was appointed TRW Automotive Holdings Asia-Pacific Operations President, in charge of managing operations for over 25 factories in the Asia-Pacific region. She is primarily responsible for the development and execution of strategy and operation planning, with the aim of strengthening the relationship between Asian consumers and company shareholders. Under her leadership, TRW has become a shining example of a successful American auto parts enterprise operating in China.

Xu Huanxin: Since Dr. Xu's appointment as general manager in 2006, Shanghai Sachs Huizhong Shock Absorber has become a pioneer in quality, customer service and operation style, gaining both the support of several manufacturers and consumers, as well as becoming China's largest shock absorber producer. Dr. Xu has years of work experience, having previously worked at many German enterprises specializing in engine technology, production, automobile aftermarket sales service and other domains.

Liang Zhenghua: From its establishment in 2000 and under Mr. Liang's direction, Kaihua Moulds has rapidly become transformed into a hugely innovative and successful enterprise. Kaihua Moulds has already entered in global marketplace, becoming one of the few privately-owned Chinese mould companies succeeding in selling beyond the country.

Chen Wenjie: Mr. Chen is a classic example of a brilliant executive who possesses a profound understanding of technology. He helped bring together a talented group of individuals to help Zhejiang Xingyu become one of the most rapidly growing and technologically innovative private enterprises.
