According to the website of FAW Mazda, as far as now, the company will halt the production of all car models except CX-4 and ATENZA, including Mazda CX-7, Mazda 6, Mazda 8 and Mazda RUIYI.
It is reported that this year is a year for strategy transformation of FAW Mazda’s products. According to the sales data of October, CX-4 and ATENZA sold 5,807 units and 5115 units respectively, with obvious sales increase. While the sales of Mazda CX-7, Mazda 6, Mazda 8 and Mazda RUIYI were not very satisfactory, it is just a matter of time for production halting.
According to resources, FAW Mazda CX-4 and ATENZA will formed a two-star product layout next, which will become the emphasis of sales. Although it is pointed that the attracting CX-9 will introduce its domestic products, the time has not be determined. It is expected that, the CX-4 and ATENZA will burden all of the sales volume in a long period of time.
