Earlier, a promotional video posted on Dec. 27, 2025 by SERES Group Vice President Kang Bo said the M9 had already exceeded 260,000 deliveries since launch — setting a new record for models in the 500,000-yuan segment. It took less than a month to move from 260,000 to 270,000.
Built jointly by SERES and Huawei, the AITO M9 debuted on Dec. 26, 2023. A refreshed 2025 AITO M9 followed on Mar. 20, 2025, with a starting price of 469,800 yuan.
On the outside, the new model carries forward the family design language. Up front are Huawei's dual‑megapixel smart projection headlights and smart interactive matrix headlights — highly distinctive and aligned with its tech‑luxury positioning. Dimensions come in at 5,230/1,999/1,800 mm, with a 3,110 mm wheelbase, delivering generous cabin space.
Inside, the 2025 AITO M9 adds a new MagLink Mini rear control screen with a magnetic attach‑detach design. It features the Smart Laser Projection Giant Screen 2.0 system with a 32‑inch in‑car projection screen and an industry‑first "in‑vehicle floating window." The model also introduces smart privacy glass with adjustable tint, controllable via a knob, voice commands and more. The onboard fridge is upgraded to a compressor unit offering 0–15°C cooling and 35–50°C heating.
For driver assistance, the 2025 AITO M9 is equipped with four lidar units, including new short‑focus side and rear lidars for stronger perception. It also runs Huawei ADS 3.3, enabling parking‑space‑to‑parking‑space intelligent driving without prior learning or spot constraints, and adds two external microphones to detect emergency vehicles and give way automatically.
Powertrain options include two setups. The range‑extended version uses a new generator with engine code HG15T, rated at 118 kW. The pure‑electric version adopts a dual‑motor layout, with a 160 kW front motor and a 230 kW rear motor, delivering up to 630 km of range.
