Gasgoo.com (Shanghai March 31) - It was revealed a few days ago that Mini would bring the Goodwood concept car to this year's Shanghai Automobile Exhibition (Auto Shanghai 2011). Shanghai will mark the third showing for the vehicle after the North American and Geneva auto shows.

The Goodwood's design follows the Rocketman and Paceman concepts. The decision to show it off in Shanghai is important as it demonstrates the Asian market's importance to Mini.

As of yet there isn't much concrete detail on the concept. The Goodwood is name after the legendary home of the Festival Speed Goodwood, England. Goodwood is also the home of fellow BMW-owned marquee Rolls-Royce.
