Gasgoo Munich- AVATR officially put the 07L model onto the market on August 8, positioning the mid-to-large battery-electric SUV as one of the first production models equipped with Huawei's Qiankun ADS 5 driver-assistance system.

The new model expands AVATR's SUV portfolio with a longer body and wheelbase than the existing 07, targeting buyers seeking a more spacious five-seat electric vehicle. AVATR is a premium EV marque backed by Changan Automobile and CATL, with Huawei supplying key intelligent-vehicle technologies.
Three variants are available: the Elite BEV version at 229,900 yuan, the Max+ BEV at 249,900 yuan and the three-motor Ultra BEV at 279,900 yuan. Limited-time prices reduce the respective figures by 10,000 yuan, bringing the range down to 219,900 yuan to 269,900 yuan.
The latest Huawei system is the centerpiece of the new model. AVATR says the 07L will be delivered with the announced ADS 5 functions already enabled, avoiding the need for customers to wait for a subsequent over-the-air update.
Despite its Chinese name, which translates literally as "intelligent driving," Qiankun ADS 5 remains an advanced driver-assistance system rather than autonomous-driving technology. Drivers must continue monitoring the road and remain responsible for the vehicle.
ADS 5 is built on Huawei's new WEWA 2.0 architecture, which combines a cloud-based "World Engine" with an onboard "World Action Model." The updated cloud-training system moves from training individual agents to running coordinated multi-agent simulations.
Huawei claims that this approach increases both the intensity of simulated interactions and training efficiency by a factor of 10, enabling the system to learn from a broader range of complex traffic encounters.
The 07L carries 27 perception sensors, including Huawei's 896-line LiDAR and 4D imaging radar. The LiDAR uses a dual-optical-path design that combines two focal ranges within a single unit to improve both long-distance detection and near-field resolution.
Huawei describes the sensor as the highest-resolution LiDAR currently fitted to a series-production vehicle. In company testing, it detected an object measuring 14 cm high at a distance of 120 meters under nighttime, high-speed conditions. Those performance claims have not been independently verified.
As of the launch, vehicles using Huawei Qiankun ADS had accumulated more than 13.7 billion kilometers of assisted driving, according to figures disclosed by AVATR. The company said this was the highest cumulative total among driver-assistance systems in China.
The 07L also adopts the latest HarmonySpace cockpit across the lineup. Its dashboard combines a 35.4-inch 4K panoramic display with a separate 15.6-inch floating central touchscreen, providing information and controls across distinct viewing zones.
The Elite and Max+ versions use a 305-kW rear-mounted motor. AVATR quotes a zero-to-100-km/h time of 5.9 seconds and a CLTC range of 725 km for the Max+.
The Ultra introduces a three-motor all-wheel-drive system producing a combined 712 kW. It accelerates from zero to 100 km/h in a claimed 3.7 seconds and delivers a CLTC-rated range of 650 km.
