Gasgoo Munich- Avatr, the premium EV brand backed by Changan, officially launched the Avatr 07L in Hangzhou on August 8. The vehicle is positioned as a mid-to-large luxury electric SUV.
Branded as an "intelligent, stylish, large five-seater luxury SUV," the lineup includes three trims: the Elite, Max+, and Ultra three-motor versions. Official guide prices range from 229,900 to 279,900 yuan, though limited-time offers bring that down to 219,900 to 269,900 yuan.

A key highlight of the debut, the Avatr 07L is among the first models to feature Huawei’s Qiankun ADS 5. Drivers get access to the full suite of intelligent driving features immediately upon delivery, skipping the wait for over-the-air updates.
The system employs a new WEWA 2.0 architecture, where the cloud-based world engine shifts from individual training to a collaborative group simulation mode. This upgrade boosts both simulation intensity and training efficiency by tenfold.
On the hardware front, the vehicle is equipped with 27 high-sensitivity sensors, including Huawei’s Qiankun 896-line lidar and 4D millimeter-wave radar. The lidar unit—the highest specification currently in mass production globally—uses a dual-optical-path architecture. It can reliably detect low obstacles as small as 14 centimeters from 120 meters away, even in high-speed, low-light conditions.
In terms of data, Huawei’s Qiankun ADS has logged over 13.7 billion kilometers of assisted driving as of the launch, leading all domestic systems. The Avatr 07L also comes standard with the new HarmonyOS cockpit, featuring a 35.4-inch 4K panoramic screen and a 15.6-inch floating central display.
Under the hood, the Max+ electric variant features a 305 kW high-performance coaxial rear motor, delivering a 0-100 km/h sprint of 5.9 seconds and a CLTC range of 725 km. The Ultra three-motor version boasts a combined output of 712 kW, cutting the sprint to 3.7 seconds with a CLTC range of 650 km. Across the lineup, a 89.33 kWh CATL 5C "Shenxing" ultra-charging battery powers the vehicle, supporting 800V high-voltage fast charging.
