On January 1, BAIC New Energy reported its sales figures. Full-year sales in 2025 reached 209,576 vehicles, up 84% year-on-year. December sales were 35,205, up 115% year-on-year, marking a third consecutive month above 30,000.

Notably, the STELATO brand reached 10,000 vehicles in December for the first time, a monthly high that supports BAIC New Energy's premium push. ARCFOX's full-year sales surpassed 160,000, doubling for a third consecutive year; December sales were over 24,000, up 103%.

In 2025, BAIC New Energy advanced its "ARCFOX + STELATO" dual-brand strategy, delivering growth that significantly outpaced the industry.

ARCFOX, rooted in the mainstream pure-EV market, stayed competitive by refreshing its lineup, consolidating its strength in the RMB 150,000-250,000 price band.

Co-developed with Huawei and aimed at the premium segment, STELATO gained traction with the STELATO S9, ranking first by sales among luxury new-energy sedans priced above RMB 300,000.

As 2025 drew to a close, China's autonomous-driving industry saw a landmark moment: the ARCFOX Alpha S (L3 version) secured formal product-access approval from the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT) and Beijing's dedicated autonomous-driving license plate.

For years, the field has relied on "test plates" and "pilot permits," while a true "official plate" remained absent. ARCFOX's credential is no test plate — it follows a full product-access review, conferring clear on-road eligibility and defined liability. The approval signals official recognition of BAIC New Energy's technological strength.

Near year-end 2025, BAIC BluePark disclosed that a RMB 6 billion refinancing plan won approval from the China Securities Regulatory Commission. Proceeds are earmarked mainly for new-energy model development and projects to build an AI-enabled platform and intelligent-driving electrification systems.

BAIC New Energy said that in 2026 it will focus on performance growth and technology breakthroughs, continuing to showcase the rise of a start-up-minded new state-owned enterprise.
