The two companies will co-develop autonomous driving technologies such as domain controllers and automated parking. Intelligent cockpit and other products in the area are all aspects the partners considered.
With each other’s resources in the automobile industrial chain, the two parties will share their information and technologies to achieve a scale effect and a solid long-term relationship.
The future fruits developed from the partnership will be introduced to automakers by both parties.
Black Sesame has been commercializing its L2-L3 ADAS and autonomous driving perceptual system solutions through numerous partners, such as FAW Group, Bosch, SAIC Group, Dongfeng Sharing. The company has successfully launched a mass-producible single-chip platform that supports driving/parking integrated domain controllers, and passes automotive safety requirements.
Jingwei Hirain’s ADAS controller was implemented on SAIC ROEWE’s RX5 model back in 2016, shattering the foreign suppliers’ monopoly position at the time. The company’s L3 intelligent driving domain controller is also mounted on FAW Hongqi’s flagship model, the E-HS9.
